Why you and your baby need a good night’s sleep
When you’re a sleep-deprived parent, you know that nothing beats a good night’s sleep to make everything feel better. As adults, we all understand the importance of good quality, restorative sleep – so why do some babies really struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep.
Young children grow and develop quickly, so getting enough sleep to support their good health and give them the energy they need to play and learn is important. Having good sleep habits – a routine that works, a safe sleeping environment, and the right support – will all ensure your baby gets all the sleep they need.

Five signs your baby
is not sleeping well
- Becomes grizzly or fussy quickly
- Wakes through the night and needs help to fall back to sleep
- Takes frequent catnaps
- Finds it difficult to settle before sleep
- Falls asleep at unpredictable times

To get the most out of the program, we recommend you put aside some time to focus on improving your baby’s sleep. You will get out of this program what you put into it BUT it is not intended to be difficult and time-consuming and it is designed to be incorporated into everyday family life.
