With her kind, consistent and patient approach, Leonie is passionate about putting practical parenting tools in the hands of all families, from pregnancy through to four-year-olds. Leonie assists families to overcome feeding issues with breast/bottle/solids, any sleep/settling concerns, as well as child behaviour.
Leonie’s qualifications are extensive – she is a Mothercraft Nurse, an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Trainer and Assessor. Leonie holds registrations with AHPRA and IBCLE, her affiliations are currently maintained with LCANZ and CLCWA.
Leonie offers a calm and resilient approach to family support with expertise in all areas of child development. When challenges arise, Leonie has all the credentials and knowledge that you require as well as the compassion that every family deserves. Leonie knows what you are feeling and experiencing as a parent – she has been in your shoes with three children of her own, as well as working with thousands of families. Having worked in a Mother and Baby Mental Health Unit, the Education Department and in Disability Forums, Leonie’s empathy and understanding is her strong suit.
Leonie’s ethos is Prevention, Intervention and Support to make changes to parents’ lives.
